Food Drive Fact Sheet
Rotary Club of North Utica/Whitestown
May 5 – June 4, 2021
The Rotary Club of North Utica /Whitestown held a food drive to benefit the Utica Food Pantry and its mission to assist families in our community who are facing food insecurity.
The Whitesboro High School Sophomore Class and members of the Whitesboro National Honor Society assisted in the drive. Collection points were located at: North Utica First Source Credit Union Branch, Dunham Public Library, Schuyler Commons Clubhouse and the New Hartford Branch of M&T Bank.
Results of the Drive:
1198 pounds of non-perishable food collected
Economic value of food collected: $2001.30
Donated food will be used to serve 998 meals
The Utica Food Pantry was incorporated as a 501c(3) in 1982 and serves families living in Utica who meet the Emergency Food Assistance Program income requirements.
