200 Years on the Erie Canal (1817 – 2017)

Dunham Public Library, in association with New York Heritage Digital Collections, The Empire State Library Network and The Digital Public Library of America,  is pleased to host the 200 Years on the Erie Canal (1817 – 2017) traveling exhibition.

All are are welcome to stop in and view this free and fascinating salute to part of our state’s grand history. The exhibit traces the path of the canal from the dreamers and builders responsible for its construction to culture of the canal, ways and ideas used to move things on the canal and good old Yankee ingenuity.

We will also be featuring a display of Erie Canal books, CDs and DVDs.
