Mission Statement for Children's/Youth Services Department

of Dunham Public Library

Dunham Public Library's Children's/Youth Services Department provides for the educational, recreational, and informational needs of the youth of our area as well as those of the adults who care for them. This is accomplished in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner in a pleasant environment. It is also done through collection development, programming, and story hours geared toward children and youth from birth through high school, respectively.

February Calendar of Events for Children and their Families

February and March Events at the Library

Programs are back at Dunham Public Library! Get back in the swing of things with Rhyme Time, Preschool Story Time, Teddy Bear & Me, and Nintendo Wii. February is packed with movies, art classes, and crafts for Valentine's Day and Mardi Gras! If you're staying home for Mid-Winter Recess this year, we have a whole week of programs, just for you!

The fun continues into March, starting with our special Read Across America Day celebration. Stories, crafts, art classes, movies, and Nintendo Wii continue all month long. Help us countdown to spring, escape the wacky weather at the library! And be sure to mark your calendar for our annual Easter Egg Hunt, which is always a ton of fun!

For more information or to sign up for programs, check out the library's Calendar of Events, our Youth Services Facebook page, call us at 736-9734, or just stop in!
