Monthly we will be publishing a listing of the most circulated titles within the library for the previous month. There are six categories with the top "seller" being listed first in each category and the number of times that title has been checked out. Perhaps you might be interested in reading, listening to or viewing these resources as well.

The Book Lovers' Reading Group

  • Meets the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. for an hour of casual discussion. Books to read are chosen by consensus. It is a relaxed group distinguished by its acceptance of the opinions of all members.
  • Next meeting: February 20, 2012. 6.30 pm in the Library Board Room.

Dunham Public Library Friends of Poetry ... Plus

The Whitesboro Reading Group

  • Meets the third Thursday of every month at 1:00 p.m. We read best sellers, classics, mysteries, historical fiction, and biographies. Each month there is a different facilitator who presents background information on that month's author and chosen title. Participants share their thoughts, reactions, questions, or insights and the discussion expands from that input.

Dunham Public Library Mystery Book Club

  • Meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. We gather for peaceful discussions of mystery literature and our selections are chosen by consensus of the group. Meetings are always free and open to all interested in the mystery genre.

Dunham Public Library Writer's Group

  • Meets the fourth Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m.  We are new writers, experienced writers, creative writers, professional writers; in other words, we are lovers of the written word looking to hone our skills and support each other with constructive feedback.  Meetings are free and open to all.
  • Next meeting: 27 February, 2012. Writing topic: My Life Story in 250 Words or Less.
